Product Review: Plumb Away

Of course the day that I have a grad school interview (more on that later) is the day our shower completely stops draining.  In a panic, I turned to my hubby and said, "Go to the store.  Get some Drano.  I don't care how many horrible chemicals it has and the pollution it will cause.  We are desperate!"


He returned with his chest feathers all puffed up and in his hand was the new fangled Plumb Away, a earth-friendlier alternative to Drano.  Basically, it is a bottle of compressed air that you put into your drain.  It pushes the clog out.  AND IT WORKS.  Our shower always had a slow drain, but not anymore.  And the Plumb Away was fast, basically instant draining.  So, super strong recommendation on this one.  He bought it at Home Depot and was so proud of his find.  He is not the handy-man type, so fixing the drain was a big deal for him.

And now when I ask him to help me on any other handy project, he smiles and replies, "I just do drains."
